1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and Pathashala AI (“we”, “us”, or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the Pathashala AI platform, websites, and associated interactive features.

By accessing the website or platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with all of these terms, then you are expressly prohibited from using our services.

2. Description of Services

Pathashala AI provides a next-generation personalized education ecosystem comprising:

• Vidhya: Tools to format raw lectures into interactive summary cards, audio files, and test files.
• Nipurn: An AI-powered tutor widget (Nigraani AI) designed to supervise learning progress, query doubts, and track milestones.
• Uparjak: Reward programs linking skill development to cash payout roadmaps sponsored by teachers or community hosts.

3. User Accounts & Registration Safety

To utilize certain dashboard elements, you must register a user account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration details.
• Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access to your profile credentials.
• Notify us immediately if you discover or suspect any security breaches related to the website or services.
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your user profile.

4. Earning and Payout Policies (Uparjak)

Users participating in the Uparjak rewards roadmaps must agree to the following terms:

• Milestone Verifications: All payouts are subject to prior verification by our automated AI algorithms and/or manual review by the assigning teacher. Fake answers, plagiarized code submissions, or system exploitation will lead to immediate reward forfeiture.
• Sponsorship Disclaimers: Cash rewards are sponsored by community hosts or teachers. Pathashala AI acts as an intermediary processor and is not directly liable for sponsor funding shortages.
• Withdrawal Controls: Cash payouts can be withdrawn to configured wallets or accounts subject to regional banking guidelines and verification processes.
• Token Transfers & Lecture Commissions: Parents may transfer a portion of their token balance to their linked students, subject to a transfer limit configured by platform administrators. Teachers and managers may receive a token-based commission when a student they assigned completes a lecture, at a rate configured by platform administrators. These token movements are internal platform credits, are not cash, and are separate from any Uparjak cash payout.

5. Rules of Conduct

You may not access or use our educational services for any purpose other than that for which we make the platform available. Prohibited activities include:

• Bypassing, disabling, or interfering with security-related features of the site (including CSP rules).
• Uploading malicious scripts, malware, or inappropriate/offensive study materials.
• Attempting to trick, defraud, or mislead us and other users, especially in attempts to qualify for cash rewards.
• Using automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to extract platform databases or content.

6. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, the platform, source code, databases, software configurations, web designs, audio, video, text, and graphics on the site are our proprietary property or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

7. Termination

We reserve the right, without notice or liability, to terminate or suspend your access to the platform (including deleting your account and forfeiting unpaid rewards) for any reason, including without limitation breach of any representation, warranty, or covenant contained in these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event will Pathashala AI, its directors, employees, or partners be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
